With the feeds from DataPort and the HTML catalog, we became able to place our site on the 'Net where people can see us.

We met all sales goals. We tripled sales from 2003 to 2004 and will likely double those sales by the end of 2005. When asked to identify which component was most effective in their success:

"Support. The support people are always quick to respond to problems and questions. Without this kind of support, we would not feel the sense of safety and care that is needed by any company that looks forward to a bright future. We know that we don't know everything, but it is good to know that when we have a question, we know who to ask that will give us the answers. This is beyond valuable," Moretto said.

"The support staff was quick to respond to questions - even those they've probably heard a million times. The manual was helpful too. It was easy to reach any person by phone or email.

Specializing in furniture, home décor, framed art and accessories, Efurniturehouse.com has been a member of the MonsterCommerce family for the past year and a half. As part of their overall e-commerce solution they chose MonsterCommerce services and add-ons, including Search Engine Optimization, Design and Urchin Statistics to fulfill their overall storefront marketing strategy.

"After a 6-month review process, we started using MonsterCommerce in May, 2004 and launched in August 2004. Our passion is offering the latest consumer and small business cordless phones, amplified phones for the hearing impaired, wireless weather forecasters and other niche consumer electronics," said Nagel.

"Though MonsterCommerce has many built-in features that have positively impacted our business, the search engine friendly features and tools have made the biggest contribution to our business. The SEO catalog and the upgraded updates is a benefit that can be directly seen by our order referrals. Also, the Link Building program within MonsterWebPromotion clearly played a role in bringing us top results with the search engines. It was critical for us to have the ability to have a customer-friendly design for our e-commerce platform. Though difficult to measure the impact, we receive kudos every week for the professional design of our site.

Another MonsterCommerce tool that improves our effectiveness and efficiency is DataPort. The ability to import all of our product data from a database or spreadsheet, the ability to do quick updates to many products, upload shipment tracking numbers and eventually link to QuickBooks through MonsterBooks, are all critical features for us.

Beyond these tools, we're excited about the fact that they're all available directly from MonsterCommerce and that we don't have to shop externally or develop the tools on our own. We selected MonsterCommerce based on three simple criteria. Their remaining benefits were just 'frosting on the cake' for us.

The MC platform appears to be built, maintained, and developed by those who have owned a retail business. The vast majority of MonsterCommerce's competition has an organizational background built on IT development and/or 'Ivory Tower Marketing.' The difference to me as a client is sales and profits.

MonsterCommerce is a search engine friendly e-commerce platform. The perception, based on superior client results within search engines, is that MonsterCommerce stays 'plugged in' to the search engine world.

Support with a WOW! MonsterCommerce is available anytime. Management is even available pre- and post-sale. While there is no perfect solution, I've been challenged to find this level of support while I worked for a large worldwide enterprise paying $100's per hour purely for support.

These criteria were sealed by the collection of great MonsterCommerce clients I spoke with prior to selecting MonsterCommerce. While no commerce solution can please 100% of the market, MonsterCommerce seems to have pleased their E-retailers who make sales and profits a genuine priority."

When asked how MonsterCommerce increased their visibility in the marketplace:

"Monster has absolutely increased our visibility, especially with the search engines. Within 6 months we became one of the leading 'consumer phone only' sites. Besides important customer kudos, we've also received 'site of the day' on a local CBS TV affiliate in South Texas. With the help of the MonsterCommerce total e-commerce platform, we've been able to meet the high side of our revenue target, exceed our highest profit targets and gain more visibility within organic search than we expected.

I would say that MonsterCommerce's most effective service for us has been technical support (this includes the MC Forum). The ability of MonsterCommerce's support staff (I would categorize everyone at MC as Support) to assist at all hours, even when there's a chance that it isn't a direct MonsterCommerce issue, has been incredible. As with the launch with any new e-commerce site, there are always complications. We found the support during our launch period significantly eased the headaches associated with a site launch. We were also impressed with the service we received with the add-on DataPort tool. Issues weren't always solved in one or two calls, but the ball has never been dropped. From day one, MonsterCommerce provides a thorough, step-by-step launch process, though some of the information is more beneficial for those who are launching their first store.

Overall, I used the Ticket process the most and found it to be one of the easier methods to solve a detailed question. Though it's difficult to keep up with updates to the platform, more details could be provided to the manuals (main manual and DataPort manual) to improve launch speed and decrease tech support tickets and calls.

Overall, we got the attention we needed during launch and this is all we could ask for... and difficult to find in the marketplace. We get positive comments about our customers' experience on our site a few times a week. They comment on our professional/clean look and easy to understand categories, the cart on the right and their ability to come back and check order status and tracking numbers if they've lost their email.

When asked how MonsterCommerce helped ebeadstore.com meet or exceed its expectations in revenue, sales and visibility:

"Through MonsterCommerce we are able to market our products more effectively. Basically what happens is that as soon as new beads are added to our online inventory, the customer just reviews them and if they like it them have the means to buy them right there. They do not have to follow up by phone or messages. All the required information is presented. All they have to do is use their fingertips. This has made a great impact on our revenues. We are much better off business-wise compared to last year.

Since we at the Ebeadstore are inclined to design ourselves, we consider SEO by far the most effective service that Monster provided. The people are knowledgeable and know what they are doing. MonsterCommerce provided us an initial push and from that, we took off. It is up to us to maintain the altitude.

From an overall perspective MonsterCommerce has assisted us in so many ways with our e-business endeavor. Let us first mention that the Tech Support is just world class. When we call their number it may be one or two times that the computer voice answered. Otherwise it is the tech guys who will answer it. This makes us feel better. If they do not know the solution they will definitely get with the person who does know. We have had customers ask who has designed our site and who hosts it, and say that they want to have a similar site. These are the great compliments that we get from our customers."
